We are looking for a Public Relations Specialist to join our team! This is a contractor based position with up to 40 workable hours weekly. This positions is fully remote.
Role Description
This is a full-time remote role for a Public Relations Specialist focused in the healthcare space. The Public Relations Specialist will be responsible for managing public relations efforts, establishing and maintaining relationships with the media, and implementing strategic communication plans. The Public Relations Specialist will also be involved in managing and coordinating media interviews and events.
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum of 1-2+ years of experience in a Public Relations or similar role
- Demonstrated expertise in public relations and strategic communications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong media relations skills
- Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas to diverse audiences
- Proficiency in media monitoring and analysis
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or related field
- Experience in the healthcare industry is a plus
